Grains this week did show some signs of life again. Corn and beans have rallied some 40 cents each this week, but wheat continues to struggle. News of a fairly substantial wheat purchase into an eastern US port from Europe seemed to keep wheat futures subdued.

The commodity markets are trading lower on the week as we find ourselves trading cash corn twenty-five cents lower and beans down about a dime. Export sales have been disappointing for the past two weeks and current demand for cash bushels continues to be domestic.
