Good afternoon. First of all, we want to keep folks affected by the tornadoes last night in our prayers. We did have some very nice weather for the majority of the week, and receipts did pick up nicely as farmers decided to haul grain.

China has started to cancel wheat shipments, and there could be more cancellations to come. Turned out to be a not so big report day.

I hope everyone survived the storms earlier this week with no major damage. This cold front appears to be moving out and it looks like we might reach 70 degrees come the end of the weekend into the first of next week. Spring planting will be here before we know it!

Good afternoon, I hope you are all able to enjoy this weather. It was another big week on the news front. We did have the USDA report a couple of corn sales in the export market totaling 355,000 MT. One was to Mexico, and the other is to Columbia.

It appears that the groundhogs did not see their shadows, so spring, here we come. The futures markets for both corn and beans continue to struggle to gain any strength this week.

Between the cold weather on the way this weekend and a bearish January WASDE report this afternoon, it’s not been a very exciting Friday. Grain markets have bounced off their lows today, however corn and beans are still down a dime and wheat is down 7c.
